About Wigs for Kids

Wigs for Kids BC (W4K BC) helps kids living with cancer, live better.

A proudly volunteer-run organization, W4K BC provides funding to cover the cost of custom-made human-hair wigs for children and teens at BC Children's Hospital who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment or other serious illnesses. Donations to W4K BC also help families pay for medications and feeding supplies that are essential for treatment but not covered by their medical plan.

When a child has a serious illness it takes an enormous toll on the entire family–both emotionally and financially. The assistance W4K BC provides makes the family's burden a little lighter so they can focus more of their time and energy on caring for their sick child.

By contributing to W4K BC, you are making a tremendous difference in the lives of children living with cancer –and their families–across the province. Thank you for your support.

Theres some Tom foolery going on here in the background unfortunately. All raffle entries will need to go directly to endthereignofgingerjesus@gmail.com in the form of 200 words minimum description or a few sample photos. Will also accept stick figure drawings.

And for transparency (an important virtue of any charitable endeavor), any donations showing up in my name are from offline donations from very generous persons. The system just won't put in my hilarious and witty alternative names for these anonymous lovely people. That or I'm the problem. Doubtful.

It's Time

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, it's been a long six years and it's time to get the shears out.

As a little way to add some whimsy to it all, I've decided to run a raffle for all my donors to decide what happens with the hair that's left over on my head. There's gonna be some rules so listen up:

1-Every 5 dollars donated gets 1 raffle ticket earned.
2-The style or what have you must be less than 3 inches long.
3-No hate symbols, hate speech, union jacks or English flags will be allowed.
4-Leave a link or a description of what you want left on my poor head in the message section of the donations page, or email it to endthereignofgingerjesus@gmail.com if you forget to put it in. 
5-Have fun with it
