Our kids ARE mighty!
Friends, families and all the supporters of TEAM QVA --- we did it! Yesterday, Team QVA' s 22 runners (and 3 support and cheer-ers) completed the 2km run and had a blast!
Kids, parents and families all need the support of community to be mighty. Thank you all (95 of you!!!) for supporting us - your contributions helped gave us the heart to pump it up! Team QVA surpassed its $2,000 goal and raised a jaw-dropping $4,960 (!) becoming the 6th largest school to donate to BC Children's Hospital. Not bad for a school as tiny as QVA!
Small, tiny, young -- here's hoping our kids learned that coming from a 'tiny'school or being young doesn't stop them from being leaders, activists, great team members and community growers.
We will back in 2024 and invite you to join us!
We’re helping kids be mighty
As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.
Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.
Your donation to our RBC Race for the Kids fundraising page will help advance care for kids across the province and support experts at BC Children’s Hospital in their quest to conquer childhood illnesses.
