What is the gala raising funds for this year?

This year, guests of For Children We Care will play a pivotal role in advancing the Clinical Trials Super Hub at BC Children’s Hospital. Clinical trials provide access to the latest medications and treatments⁠—and for many children and families, it’s the only hope left. Having the Super Hub right on our campus will have an immediate impact in advancing care across all areas of the hospital.

How do I purchase tables or tickets?

To request tables or tickets for the 2024 For Children We Care Gala, please click here to submit your request. Once your request is submitted, our gala team will contact you within 3 business days to confirm available table and ticket options and instructions on how to make your purchase.

  • Premier Circle Table of 8  $28,000 
  • Caring Circle Table of 8  $18,000 
  • Mighty Circle Table of 8  $10,000 
  • Table of 8  $6,400 
  • Individual Ticket  $800

How can I support in lieu of attending?

If you are not able to join us in person at the gala this year, there are a number of ways you can still support the groundbreaking work of the Clinical Trials SuperHub at BC Children’s Hospital. You can: 

 

  • Make a donation. In lieu of attending, you can make a direct donation to For Children We Care through this link.   

 

  • Purchase prize draw tickets. Tickets will be available to both guests in attendance and to those who are unable to attend. Ticket purchases, as well as descriptions of all items, will be available on this website by May 1, 2024.  

 

  • Take part in our silent auction. The For Children We Care Silent and Luxury Silent Auction features a finely curated selection of items, including many that are available exclusively for gala supporters. Items will be available for bidding on our auction website by May 1, 2024.  

Will I receive a tax receipt?

  • Partial tax receipts will be available for ticket and table purchases with final tax receipt amount to be confirmed 1 week prior to the event 
  • Full tax receipts will be provided for direct donations made in advance of, during or after the event.  
  • Prize draw tickets are not eligible for tax receipts. 
  • Any auction items won with a bid over 125% of their fair market value, will receive a tax receipt for the full difference between the bid amount and the fair market value.
