I’m taking part in the Mining for Miracles’ Pie Throwing Challenge at Finning’s Surrey Branch on May 21st, going head‑to‑head with Gordon Cooper

 

Here’s how it works: the person who raises the most donations earns the honour of throwing a pie at their opponent’s face. Naturally, I’m aiming for victory—and a front‑row seat to seeing Gordon get pied! 😄

Background on Mining for Miracles:

Pie Throw is the BC mining industry’s signature event in support of BC Children’s Hospital. Each year, leaders from across the industry take part in a friendly fundraising challenge to help raise critical funds for kids across the province.

I’m proud to be part of this effort to support care at BC Children’s Hospital’s centre for health complexity, which helps children with the most complex medical needs get the specialized care and support they rely on.

Your donation will help ensure children and families across BC can access life-changing treatment, closer to home and when they need it most.
