Pie Throw is the BC mining industry’s signature event in support of BC Children’s Hospital. Each year, leaders from across the industry take part in a friendly fundraising challenge to help raise critical funds for kids across the province.
I’m proud to be part of this effort to support care at BC Children’s Hospital’s centre for health complexity, which helps children with the most complex medical needs get the specialized care and support they rely on.
Your donation will help ensure children and families across BC can access life-changing treatment, closer to home and when they need it most.

Friday 1st May I'm extremely proud to take part in this cause, and also to be in an industry that supports those in need.There could be nothing more important in this world than to take care of those not able to take care of themselves, and children above all else come first on that list.

Great cause Lyle! The only reason that my daughter is alive today is because 16 years ago a brave doctor and her team at a children’s hospital made the call to approve a very expensive treatment. They were unsure if it would work or not, but with her condition worsening by the minute, she pushed through the treatment. She informed us that she was able to approve this solely due to donors and fundraisers just like these.
