Welcome to my fundraising page for the 2026 Mining for Miracles Pie Throw!
The Pie Throw is Mining for Miracles’ signature fundraising event in support of BC Children’s Hospital, and it holds deep personal meaning for me. It is far more than a fundraiser challenge—it represents our shared belief that when families are facing their hardest moments, compassionate, timely, advanced, and life‑saving care must always be there for them.
What truly brings this initiative to life is hearing employees share their personal stories and first‑hand experiences. When colleagues speak about how BC Children’s Hospital supported their children or families, it becomes deeply real. Those stories remind us that behind every dollar raised is a child with hope, a family seeking answers, and a community standing together—and that is why coming together through events like the Pie Throw matters so much.
This year, we continue our shared commitment to supporting the Centre for Health Complexity. After raising more than $2.25 million last year, we are building on that momentum as we work toward raising another $2 million this year, contributing to a multi‑year goal of $6 million for this vital facility.
BC Children’s Hospital is more than a place of care—it is a beacon of hope, healing, and possibility. Knowing that our collective efforts can help ensure children and families across the province receive the care they need is something I am deeply proud to be part of.
