The SHAVE FOR THE BRAVE is an annual charity event organized by Balding for Dollars that transforms a simple act—shaving one’s head—into a powerful show of solidarity with children facing cancer. By participating or donating, you’re helping to bring a smile to a child’s face and to alleviate some of the everyday burdens families face while navigating life with a cancer diagnosis.
Balding for Dollars, in partnership with the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, raises funds to support programs for oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant patients in BC. All funds go toward improving patients’ quality of life before, during, and after treatment, and suitable hair donations are used to create wigs for kids.
GO BALD. GIVE BIG. LET THE GOOD VIBES ROLL.
Whether at our main event in Vancouver on May 2nd, or at one of the many community-led events happening across BC, you can make a meaningful difference in the life of a child living with cancer. Shave, fundraise, volunteer, or simply show up and share your good vibes — every action counts.
