Let's face it. We all know someone with cancer. The life changing news, the painful treatments, the insurmountable unknown. Now, imagine it's a kid on that same journey. This page, and Whistler's 24th annual Balding for Dollars event is inspired by every kid who has had to walk through the doors of BC Children's Hospital. It's inspired by the kids we know who survived, and those that didn't.
On Saturday April 18th we will be celebrating and supporting the kids, parents, friends, and families who have been touched by cancer. Shaving heads in solidarity and raising as much money we can to help with research, treatment, financial support, and any joyful moment of reprieve we can cultivate along the way.
We're inspired by the work of BC Children Hospital Foundation, so we wanted to raise money by fundraising our way.

My photo is funny, Cancer is not. My Brain Cancer was found in 2001 and my Breast Cancer was found a few years later. We must all hope for the bust, remind Cancer is a fucking bad thing staying hopeful Fucking Cancer li/es no more! Please donate what you can. Peace!
