Bald is Beautiful!
I'm inspired by the work of BC Children Hospital Foundation, so I wanted support the cause by participating in this year’s Balding for Dollars and Shave for the Brave.
This cause is dear to my heart. When I was young, I lost my grandmother to cancer and I couldn’t believe how resilient people are through their cancer treatment, especially younger children than myself at that time. I wanted to spread joy, boost confidence, show kids that they’re not alone in their journey, and help create wigs for those who’ve lost their hair during treatment.
This is my fifth time participating in Balding for Dollar. This year, I’ll be donating 28 inches of my hair.
