60km, One Water Bike, One Mighty Cause
On September 20, our Managing Partner Tiernan is pedaling a water bike solo across the Strait of Georgia; from Vanier Park in Vancouver to Maffeo Sutton Park in Nanaimo. A 60km open-water crossing that'll take him somewhere between 13 and 15 hours, escorted the entire way by boat.
GoEasy Water Bikes exists because we believe in pushing limits and having the time of our lives doing it. Kids at BC Children's Hospital are fighting battles far bigger than any distance on the water, and we wanted to put our love of endurance and adventure behind something that actually matters. For every hour Tiernan is out there pedaling, GoEasy is donating $50 and we're asking you to help us go further.
As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children's provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles. Amazing progress has been made in improving children's health care, but there's still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.
Your donation to this page helps advance that care and supports the experts at BC Children's Hospital in their quest to conquer childhood illnesses — one pedal stroke, one dollar, one mighty kid at a time.
Thank you for being part of this crossing with us.
Kindly,
The GoEasy Team
