Honouring Mireya’s Legacy
We invite those who wish to honour Mireya to consider making a tribute to the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation in her memory.
- Greater awareness and understanding of Trisomy 18
- Research into the condition and its long-term outcomes
- Improved cardiac care and treatment options for children with T18
- Better understanding of the complex medical needs of these children
- Support for families navigating a T18 diagnosis and complex care
We know that research, awareness and medical care can change what is possible for future children and families. If Mireya’s story can help another child receive better care, help another family feel less alone, or contribute to a greater understanding of T18, then her beautiful life will continue to make a difference.
Mireya was with us for a short time, but she left a lifetime of love behind.
She will forever be our little miracle, our little star, and a cherished part of our family.
Mireya lives forever in our hearts!
