Balding For Dollars
When my daughter was 3 she was rushed to the ER and diagnosed with leukemia (pre-B ALL). This was our introduction to the world of childhood cancer, and we were fortunate that she responded positiviely to the treatment, went into remission, and remained so. The doctors, nurses, and staff at BC Childrens' Hospital was amazing, and this was also when I was introduced to Dan Mornar at Balding For Dollars. I immediately decided to grow my hair and raise money for this worthy cause every 2 or 3 years. Fourteen years later, I'm doing this again. Every year, I've hit my fundraising goal with the support of friends and family, and even strangers. Thank you for supporting Balding For Dollars and making a difference in the lives of these families.
