(he looked like a "Jellybean" on his 8 week ultrasound scan)
Born: Nov 12, 2012 ; Passed away on Nov 24, 2012
Our first born son, Baby Royston was born on his due date via emergency c-section at the BC Women's. When he was born, his umbilical cord was wrapped around his legs and foot that he suffered lack of oxygen. Despite the hardwork from NICU team 24/7 and his fighter personality, he passed away at the age of 12 days.
We are forever grateful for the help and care both Royston and our family received during our most difficulty time, from the teams at NICU to the maternity wards. We witnessed first hand that there are many sick babies being admitted to the NICU daily from across B.C. Nurses are there with the babies 24/7 and doctors work restlessly everyday to save the many fragile yet precious lives.
In memory of Royston, we would like to ask our friends and families to consider making a donation to the BC Children Hospital. A tax receipt will be sent to your email instantly. Your donations made in memory of Royston will be directed towards the NICU.
