As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles. 

Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids. 

Your donation to my fundraising page will help advance care for kids across the province and support experts at BC Children’s Hospital in their quest to conquer childhood illnesses.

The Vanderark Sisters Are At It Again :)

The Vanderark Sisters are at it again!

Eliza & Amelia will be raising funds and donating their hair to help Wigs for Kids. 

On Saturday November 1, 2025, Eliza and Amelia will be donating their hair once again for Wigs for Kids. 

In 2023, Eliza and Amelia pulled together, with the help of the Michaud’s Hair Salon in Cloverdale to donate.

We asked Eliza & Amelia what they wanted to do for their birthday...they said "Donate their hair".  Why?  Because we showed them 3-year-old Emily's video story: (Take a look)

Wigs for Kids BC (W4K BC) helps kids living with cancer, live better.

A proudly volunteer-run organization, W4K BC provides funding to cover the cost of custom-made human-hair wigs for children and teens at BC Children's Hospital who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment or other serious illnesses.

Donations to W4K BC also help families pay for medications and feeding supplies that are essential for treatment but not covered by their medical plan.

By contributing to W4K BC, you are making a tremendous difference in the lives of children living with cancer - and their families - across the province.
