We’re helping kids be mighty
Last April, Mateo was diagnosed with Nueroblastoma Cancer. During this past year he has gone through multiple chemotherapy’s, surgery, stem cell transplants, blood transfusions and radiation treatments. Mateo has been so strong at just 2 years old and has had such positive progress throughout his journey.
Mateo’s little friend Hayden wanted to support him, raising money during last year’s run. Hayden created a team that brought us together and made for a special day. We had support from our family, friends, school community, stunt communities across North America, Stunts Canada and many film productions which raised 50k, an incredible amount of money for a great cause.
The support from BC Children’s Hospital Doctors, nurses and staff has been unbelievable. With the support from our family, friends, community and colleagues, we are raising money to support such an amazing care facility. We have learned just how important this pediatric cancer research is and how fortunate we are to have BC Children’s hospital so close to home.
BC Children’s hospital is the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.
Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.
