What an AMAZING DAY - Over $16,000 raised

We did it. CARS FOR KEIRA, AMELIA & FRIENDS was a success. Weather was superb even though it looked a little scary at times. We had over 90 vehicles participating in the Show & Shine. Handed out over $11,200 in prizes to those who attended. Our total monies raised at the end of our event was $16.164 but I also know we have had a steady stream of donations sent in after the event.

GMO Free, Halal Friendly, Kosher, Gluten Free, and Vegan are all options with them. On top of this, they also are kicking in a portion of all sales to our cause!!!

Less than 3 days to go

Our event is creeping up on us very quickly.

T-5 Days

Even though we have been doing this for the past 4 years, there is always a feeling of excitement in the air the week leading up to our event.

Lots of generous donors have come forward and we are looking froward to seeing a gathering of cool cars on Sunday.

T-6 Days

Wow, less than a week away and our raffle prize list has already surpassed last years value.

Over $5700 in prizes already pledged with more to come.

June 4 UPDATE

We are happy to announce that we have some new partners on board for our Show & Shine event on June 3rd at Oak Bay Marina from 10:30am-3:30pm

The Hot Dog Guys - are our Food and Beverage partner and will be serving up breakfast sandwiches, gourmet hot dogs (Halal, GF, Veg, Organic) and DOLE WHIPS!!

We also have HUB International on board as our official Insurance Sponsor.


End of May - Few weeks to go

I know I haven't posted an update lately as I have been busy with another project. That project has been completed and happy to say that I can put 100% effort onto the BC Children's Hospital Fundraiser now.

We still have a big mountain to climb in order to make our goal of $20k.

I only ask that if you are able to do so, please dig deep into your wallets as the money goes to a great cause that I am fully behind.

The team is growing

We've got some familiar faces back onto the team this year along with some new additions that are welcomed with open arms.

Still hoping to surpass a $20k year and this cannot be done with out the help of the community.

We are officially registered for this year's event

Onto year 5 of our team effort. We have raised over $55,000 since we first started during Covid with a "Virtual" run.

Hope to get to $70,000 this year.
