History of the Event
Crystal Ball is BC Children's Hospital Foundation's award-winning, signature annual black-tie fundraising gala. Each year, 400 of the province's top philanthropic leaders gather in an intimate setting to raise funds to transform care for BC’s children. Since 1986, Crystal Ball has become the premier fundraising gala in BC, raising over $50 million toward advancing research and care.

The Crystal Ball community has united for the past 37 years to reimagine health care for kids across BC.
This year, guests will come together to improve the lives of countless kids and families by launching the Clinical Trials Super Hub at BC Children’s Hospital. Clinical trials provide access to the latest medications and treatments—and for many children and families, it is the only hope left. Having the Super Hub right on our campus will bring trials closer to home for those who need it most. This will lead us closer to a future where every child has the chance to thrive.
