Crystal Ball is BC Children's Hospital Foundation's award-winning, signature annual black-tie fundraising gala. Each year, 400 of the province's top philanthropic and community leaders gather in an intimate setting to raise funds to transform care for BC’s children. Since 1986, Crystal Ball has become the premier fundraising gala in BC, raising more than $59 million toward advancing research and care.
This technology is the key that reveals a whole world within. Through intricate three dimensional imaging, it captures everything from patterns in the brain to the speed of blood flow as it leaves the heart, to microstructures within bones.
When researchers can see what was once invisible, everything changes. They detect conditions at their earliest stages, understand them with newfound precision, and develop treatments that reimagine what’s possible for generations to come.
