Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.

As much as I’ve thought how fundraising might be an easy thing to do, I have never put so much effort into it like this. I set a $500 goal which was honestly intimidating to me. I kept doubting myself thinking it is too high of a goal and I was setting myself up for failure. But with persistence in sharing my page, some incredible friends and family members and getting donations in on match days I have successfully hit my goal BUT ALSO doubled my goal! And reaching $1000 means it gets matched by an anonymous donor. So I basically raised over $2000!!! Like whaaaatttt!!! Pretty incredible feeling knowing I got so much more out of my intimidating goal and it’s all going to such an amazing cause. Now let’s hope I don’t die running 5K haha
