Small is mighty
This June we will be participating in the BC Children’s Hospital Race for the kids.
This is our second year racing together as a family of four. When Kalidoni (Lido) was born, he was diagnosed with Supraventricular Tachycardia and we spent a week in the NICU working with specialists to figure out what he needed. Last year during the race, we were awaiting for the results of Lido’s holter monitor testing from our cardiologist at BC Children’s. This year we continue to celebrate his small and mighty strides to be entirely off medication!
We honour the support from the staff and teams at BCCHF. We honour the children who are faced with challenges that no child should ever have to endure, yet they show up with all their strength.
We honour the milk bank, in which Lido donated 6.7 litres in his 18 months, supporting babies in the NICU’s across BC.
Together, we are showing up for the families who need support, the staff who work endlessly, and the kids who shine- small and mighty.
Please help us fundraise in any denomination. By May 1st, 5 of our donators with be randomly selected to receive a batch of our favourite cookie recipe! (hint Sia loves chocolate chunks and Lido loves butterscotch).
