As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.
Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.

Sunday 17th May We are excited to join this fundraising event this year with our one year old son! We couldn't join last year as he was still young. It's especially meaningful for me to bring my son to this event. Couldn't imagine myself having a baby with my medical history. It wouldn't happen without Children's hospital! Monday 4th May This is my first year joining this fundraiser. I always wanted to do this. This year is especially meaningful - I was diagnosed with Leukemia at BC Children's Hospital exactly 20 years ago. Children's Hospital was like my second home back then, where I spent most of my time during my senior years in highschool. Doctors & nurses and the environment at Children's Hospital made my years of chemo treatment much more bearable. Not only did Children's Hospital saved my life, it also saved by godson's life. My godson, Lachy, got admitted to Children's Hospital earlier this year with critical conditions. Thanks to the doctors and staff, Lachy received the best care available and is now recovering well.Supporters
