Jayden’s NICU journey
Jayden’s birth was a journey filled with challenges and triumphs. Born prematurely at 34 weeks, he faced complications that required an emergency C-section, raising concerns about his health.
Despite the bruising around his head, face, and neck, Jayden’s resilience and the medical team’s swift actions offered hope.
Transferred to BC Children’s Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Jayden received specialized care and a nurturing environment tailored to premature infants.
We gratefully acknowledge the doctors, nurses, and staff who worked tirelessly to ensure Jayden’s best care. Their skillful interventions, attention to detail, and constant monitoring helped him overcome obstacles and thrive.
