I’m helping kids like me be mighty!

Most of you know LilyAnna’s story, born at 3 lbs 3 oz with a rare congenital heart defect and very rare genetic disorder. Lily fought for her life for months with multiple heart procedures and health challenges. Told she wasn’t going to make it day after day and night after night. 

Here she is!! At 2.5 years old and with the supportive services of children’s hospital and other local supports she is a happy toddler and loved endlessly by her 3 brothers and mama. So proud of her!

As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.

Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.
