I’m helping kids be mighty
I’m running this 5K in support of the children’s hospital that became our second home after Lucy was born. She underwent open heart surgery at 13 weeks old and spent 5 months in the hospital surrounded by incredible doctors, nurses, and staff who gave our family hope during the hardest time of our lives.
The care, compassion, and expertise we received helped save my daughter’s life, and I’ll never be able to fully express how grateful we are for that. By fundraising, I hope to give back to the hospital that gave us so much and help support other families facing challenges with their children.
