As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.
Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.

Supporting Eva and kiddos like her
Wednesday 18th Mar I'm participating for the fourth time in the BC Children's Hospital RBC Race for the Kids the first full weekend in June with team #EvaStrong. We're raising funds so that kiddos like Eva can access timely, lifesaving care when they have big things go wrong. I'm thankful everyday for the amazing care that my girl has had at BC Children's Hospital.Eva has finished her Leukaemia treatment but is still being monitored for a bit longer; she is in remission. She started kindergarten in the fall and I love seeing her curiousity and wonder about the world grow. I love taking her to the Aquarium and we have a shared love of axolotls. Watching her fully play with her friends and her cousins is one of the joys of my life.
I Invite you to donate to our team if you're able to - every step we take is our way of saying thank you, honoring the kids and families still fighting, and helping make sure lifesaving care and research continues for kids like Eva. Our team runs with gratitude, with hope, and with the belief that every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy and strong.
I invite you to keep Eva and her delightfully sassy spirit in your thoughts as she continues her life journey. Eva is a sparkly rainbow, scattering joy and love everywhere she goes. She has an amazing imagination, a caring heart, and a strong will. She's one of my absolute favourite people and I'm so grateful for the treatment and support she was able to access.
