As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.
Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.

Why I am running ❤️Eva
Saturday 6th AprI am running to raise funds so that myself, and kiddos like me continue to have access to important lifesaving care. On August 26th, 2022, one month after my second birthday, I was diagnosed with High risk BCell lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Front line treatment was very hard on me and I had a lot of challenges. I am very thankful that I had a place like BCCH to support me and stay so that I could get better. I am currently on maintenance chemotherapy, and my journey hasn’t been without setbacks. Recently I had a lengthy hospital stay because of a very serious pneumonia and other viruses that I had a hard time with, but I am now home. I still have about 9 months of treatment left.
I am enamoured with anything glittery, unicorns, and rainbows (including makeup & slime.)
