I’m helping kids be mighty
Our little warrior has been fighting to kick cancers butt since she was diagnosed just after her second birthday. Eva has another 9 months of treatment until she can hopefully say for certain that she “kicked cancers butt”. She has been the most resilient and joyful kiddo in spite of this awful disease she battles. She recently had a prolonged hospital stay to battle pneumonia along with some nasty viruses. Her Mama is her steadfast advocate during this process. As Eva’s Auntie Dan, my goal is to make sure that our girl knows normal aside from cancer. Our family shows up big and we want to show up once again in a bigger way to show Eva, Allie and Andrew that they are not alone and that when they fight they fight with Eva’s army on her side. We are an army of glitter wielding, spiderweb slinging, rainbow throwing warriors who stand with our brave warrior everyday.
As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.
Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.
Your donation to my RBC Race for the Kids fundraising page will help advance care for kids across the province and support experts at BC Children’s Hospital in their quest to conquer childhood illnesses.
Thank you for your support.
