Team Poppy's Vision
We're running in support of BC Children's Hospital Foundation, inspired by 11 month old Poppy. Born with a rare condition that affected the development of one of her eyes, Poppy has faced more medical appointments, tests, and uncertainty than any child should. When doctors later discovered a brain tumor, our family experienced the fear and worry that so many hospital families know. Thankfully, it was found to be benign, but the journey highlighted just how vital specialized pediatric care is, and Poppy still faces many unknowns due to the location of the tumor.
We're forever grateful for the incredible teams at BC Children's Hospital who have cared for Poppy and supported our family. By joining Team Poppy's Vision or making a donation, you're helping ensure other children and families receive the same life-changing care, expertise, and hope when they need it most.
