Our daughter Olivia lives with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. Like many families navigating complex medical needs, our journey has included challenges we never expected. There have been long appointments, therapies, moments of uncertainty, and times when we’ve had to be stronger than we thought possible. But alongside those challenges, there has also been extraordinary support.
BC Children’s Hospital is more than a hospital to us. It’s a place filled with people who dedicate their lives to helping kids like Olivia reach their fullest potential. From our orthopedic surgeons, to neurologist, the allied team to nurses and researchers, the teams there work tirelessly to provide specialized care, innovative treatments, and hope for families across British Columbia.
Events like the BCCH Race for Kids help make that possible.
When we participate in this race, we’re not just walking or running. We’re celebrating Olivia’s strength. We’re honouring the incredible healthcare teams who support her. And we’re helping ensure that other families receive the same life-changing care when they need it most.
That’s where you come in.
If you’re able, please consider supporting our team with a donation. Every contribution—big or small—helps advance care and research for kids who depend on it. Even sharing our page or cheering us on makes a difference.
Olivia shows us every day what courage looks like. By supporting the BC Children’s Hospital Race for Kids, you’re helping children like her continue to receive the care, therapies, and opportunities they deserve.
Thank you for being part of Olivia’s village and for helping us make a difference. 💙
