I’m helping kids be mighty
Hi,
My name is Avery and I am 15 years old and I have a 6 year old brother named Oliver (Oli) who has special needs. My family and I found out that Oli has a rare genetic disorder (Mosaic Variegated Aneuploidy Syndrome) when he was just about 3 years old. Without the help of BC Children's Hospital, we still wouldn't have known what Oli has. BC Children's Hospital has supported Oli through many EEG's, ultrasounds, and MRI's. The wonderful staff there are kind and always willing to help.
My family (including Oli in his wheelchair (which we call his Bugatti)) and I will be running at RBC's Race for Kids on June 8th, 2025 and every runner and donation makes a difference.
