Help me give back to BC Children’s Hospital
Hi,
My name is Avery and I am 16 years old and I have a 7 year old brother named Oliver (Oli) who has special needs. My family and I found out that Oli has a rare genetic disorder (Mosaic Variegated Aneuploidy Syndrome) when he was 3 years old. Without the help of BC Children's Hospital, we still wouldn't have known what Oli has or how to help him. BC Children's Hospital has supported Oli through many EEG's, ultrasounds, MRI's, and has continued to help him today to try to support and ease his everyday life, which helps my family too. The wonderful staff there are kind and always willing to help.
My family (including Oli in his wheelchair (which we call his Bugatti)) and I will be running at RBC's Race for Kids on June 7th, 2026 and every runner and donation makes a difference.
