I’m helping kids be mighty

As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.

Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.

Your donation to my RBC Race for the Kids fundraising page will help advance care for kids across the province and support experts at BC Children’s Hospital in their quest to conquer childhood illnesses.

WE SURPASSED OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL!

Monday 6th Apr
WOWWWWW! We cannot believe it, we've surpassed our fundraising goal. Thank you for supporting this event and sharing with all your friends and family. Cactus had some furniture sitting around and decided to host a silent auction for the items and they were so kind to donate to our team. Today was match day and the founder of the run Ming, matched the donation! Im overwhelmed by emotions and have so much gratitude to my community. THANK YOU.

RACE PACKAGE PICKUP: Mark will be picking up race packages on Saturday, so if any of you cannot pick up your packages on Friday or Saturday, please let us know and we can pick up and bring on Sunday. If you have a shirt from previous year, you can pick up your bib sticker on Sunday.

RACE DAY MEET UP: BC Children’s has set up a meeting area for our team. There will be a ‘Lola The Brave’ sign in the main area that we can all gather together and walk over to the race start area. My family will be at the race very early, so call/text if you need anything. We'll be at the meet up spot 8:30 onwards (2k race warmup starts at 9:20)
