I’m running the BC Children’s Hospital Marathon not just to run, but to show up — to remind every child fighting battles bigger than their little shoulders should have to carry that they are not alone.

Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.
