I want to give back to BC Children's for all they have done to help Cass!
On November 8th, 2024 our lives changed forever when Cassidy was diagnosed with a rare form of "tricky" Leukemia. Every parents worst nightmare came true. I was lost and never had I ever felt more alone.
So yes, this journey has been incredibly challenging for our family, especially Cass, but the care and support we have received from the medical team and support staff at BC Children's has been nothing short of extraordinary. Not only have the doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians, and care aid's offered us top notch care, they've comforted us and offered us hope.
By participating in this run, I want to give back to the incredible hospital that has been a lifeline for us. The funds raised will help continue the vital research and support services that saved Cassidy's, and many other children's lives.

Cass is doing well in maintence!
Monday 20th Apr We are now 528 days in Cass' battle against leukemia. Cass is starting to slowly feel better but the path isn't linear. She still gets regular lumbar punctures, steroid pulses, monthly infusions, weekly chemos, and daily chemo. We are about one year out of end of treatment so a ways to go yet. We are so grateful for our fabulous team at BCCH for helping Cass get this far, and for people like YOU for supporting this mighty cause. ShareSupporters
