I’m helping my nephew be mighty!
I’m helping my nephew, Brayden, and kids like him be mighty! Please read his story below (from his parents):
Brayden is turning 4 on June 6th and what better way to celebrate him than by participating in this year's RBC Race for the Kids!
Brayden was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, a rare, neuro-genetic disorder that causes many developmental delays. It has affected Brayden's ability to walk independently, balance and speak, among other things. Angelman Syndrome is characterized by having an overly happy demeanor and if you know Brayden, he is full of happiness, smiles and tons and tons of laughter.
BC Children's Hospital is one of only two hospitals in Canada that has a specific clinic dedicated to children with Angelman Syndrome. Please help our team raise money for such an important cause. Thank you!
