I’m helping kids be mighty!
This year marks my fourth time participating in the RBC Race for the Kids, and it feels especially meaningful.
As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to children, BC Children’s Hospital provides life-saving, specialized care for kids facing serious health challenges. It’s a place that so many families rely on, and a cause that continues to feel close to my heart each year I take part.
Last year, I had the chance to run alongside my closest family and friends, which made the experience incredibly special. This year carries a different kind of significance. It will be our final year of Seamless Day Kindergarten at our school, and this run is a way for our team to come together; to celebrate our work and to say a meaningful goodbye to a group of staff who have meant so much to us.
While so much progress has been made in children’s health care, there is still more work to be done. Supporting BC Children’s means helping give every child the chance at a healthier future.
