Why Team TANK?
Nevaeh, the "N" in TANK, and the oldest of the crew was born with a congenital heart defect. After going through closed heart surgery at 2 weeks old, she ended up with a blood infection that kept us at BC Children's Hospital for a month.
After a later open heart surgery and years of monitoring, she now has a perfect bill of health.
Nevaeh wouldn't be here if it wasn't for BCCH and her, her sisters, and her ever-grateful Mom run every year to support families who are managing the most challenging times of their lives.
