As the only hospital in BC devoted exclusively to kids, BC Children’s provides the specialized care that seriously ill kids need to fight their health battles.
Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.

Friday 28th Feb Friends and family,I have been involved with the Race for the Kids since 2010--the first year as a volunteer at the race, then as the online promotions volunteer, and ultimately as Vice-Chair and Chair of the (volunteer) organizing committee for several years, working alongside the amazing staff at BC Children's Hospital Foundation and the great committee, many of whom have been part of this race journey for over 30 years!Â
This event started as a small, community-organized event and grew leaps and bounds over the years, raising tens of millions of dollars for healthcare of children in BC. BC Children's hospital has always been there when needed; pleaee help us support them by joining our team (https://fundraise.bcchf.ca/join/littlelions) or donating today!Â
Although I am no longer involved in organizing this event, I'm excited to help organize a team alongside my daughter again this year. I hope to see you there! 🩷
