Amazing progress has been made in improving children’s health care. But the fact is, there’s still more to do when it comes to taking on the biggest health threats facing our kids.

Welcome to Team Kaitlyn!
Monday 23rd MarOur team is coming together to support BC Children’s Hospital and to cheer on an incredible little girl— Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn was diagnosed with BPAN (Beta-Propeller Protein-Associated Neurodegeneration) when she was 18 months old. BPAN is a very rare genetic neurological disorder that affects fewer than 2,000 people worldwide and can impact how children learn, move, communicate, and grow.
Since her diagnosis, Kaitlyn has worked incredibly hard and continues to gain new skills every day. Her determination inspires everyone around her.
BC Children’s Hospital has been an essential part of Kaitlyn’s journey. The doctors, nurses, and specialists have provided expert care while also supporting our entire family with kindness, compassion, and encouragement.
Team Kaitlyn is running to raise funds to give back to the hospital that has supported Kaitlyn and so many other children with complex medical needs. Every dollar raised helps BC Children’s Hospital continue providing specialized care, supporting families, and advancing research for kids who need it most.
